Cappuccino (Remix) - The Knux
“Their debut album, Remind Me In 3 Days, sounds like Outkast, Juvenile, Tha Pharcyde, and The Strokes concurrently blasting, out of a drop-top Jag on Sunset Blvd. on a Saturday night in the summer.”
The Knux are a self produced group that consist of brothers Kripsy & Al Millio coming out of New Orleans and landed a deal with Interscope records. Dudes are dope, they play their own instruments too. You don't see groups with that kind of talent other than N.E.R.D.

Kidz In The Hall Interview
How do you feel about the term hipster rap? Do you feel it applies to you?
Double-O: No. Because the definition of a hipster is a, well, I don't know what the original Wikipedia definition was when they used it back in the '50s, but now it's become a very pretentious title. It defines somebody who may or may not really be attached to the art form, but they just like it because it's kind of ahead of the curve or it's cool. So, I think that all it is is another definition, trying to define a sub-genre of music that they just haven't figured out how to define yet. That, really, to me, that's the buzz on music going around right now. I don't call it hipster rap, there's a lot of different types of stuff going on, it'd not just hipsters that like it. It just so happens that the bloggers and some of the more forward-thinking people are up on it.
Hipster or not, at the end of the day its all hip hop. 'nough said.

Tanya Morgan
Who is Tanya Morgan?
Well Tanya Morgan is a rap group, matter of fact they have a mixtape dropping March 18th to reiterate that point. With that said HipHopGremlins attempting to get you educated and up to speed for that March. 18 release of “Tanya Morgan is a rap group.”
The definition of Tanya Morgan is a little confusing but I’ll try. Tanya Morgan is a group comprised of Von Pea and Ilwil (Ilyas and Donwill) – two separate acts.
Tanya Morgan was born in 2003 when MC/Producer Von Pea and MC Donwill decided to join efforts to create a full length album. They began shuffling demos of songs back and forth as wav and mp3 files via AOL and email. Why all this internet nonsense right? Von Pea lives in Brooklyn while both Ilyas and Donwil reside in Cincinnati.
The collaboration resulted in the LP “Moonlighting” which featured production mainly from Von Pea but also featured production from Brickbeats (also from Cincinnati). The album only received a 3.5 from the source but was selected by ?uestlove as one of his top albums of 06’.
Now its time for your musical education
New ish:
Tanya Morgan ft. Supastition and Torae- Shake it off

'X on Politics
HAHAHA, thats all I have to say.. Read the rest over at XXL.
Are you following the presidential race?
Not at all.
You’re not? You know there’s a Black guy running, Barack Obama and then there’s Hillary Clinton.
His name is Barack?!
Barack Obama, yeah.
Barack?!
Barack.
What the fuck is a Barack?! Barack Obama. Where he from, Africa?
Yeah, his dad is from Kenya.
Barack Obama?
Yeah.
What the fuck?! That ain’t no fuckin’ name, yo. That ain’t that nigga’s name. You can’t be serious. Barack Obama. Get the fuck outta here.
You’re telling me you haven’t heard about him before.
I ain’t really paying much attention.
I mean, it’s pretty big if a Black…
Wow, Barack! The nigga’s name is Barack. Barack? Nigga named Barack Obama. What the fuck, man?! Is he serious? That ain’t his fuckin’ name. Ima tell this nigga when I see him, “Stop that bullshit. Stop that bullshit” [laughs] “That ain’t your fuckin’ name.” Your momma ain’t name you no damn Barack.
So you’re not following the race. You can’t vote right?
Nope.
Is that why you’re not following it?
No, because it’s just—it doesn’t matter. They’re gonna do what they’re gonna do. It doesn’t really make a difference. These are the last years.
But it would be pretty big if we had a first Black president. That would be huge.
I mean, I guess…. What, they gon’ give a dog a bone? There you go. Ooh, we have a Black president now. They should’ve done that shit a long time ago, we wouldn’t be in the fuckin’ position we in now. With world war coming up right now. They done fucked this shit up then give it to the Black people, “Here you take it. Take my mess.”
Right, exactly.
It’s all a fuckin’ setup. It’s all a setup. All fuckin’ bullshit. All bullshit. I don’t give a fuck about none of that.
We could have a female president also, Hillary Clinton.
I mean, either way it doesn’t matter. I don’t care. No one person is directly affected by which president, you know, so what does it matter.
Yeah, but the country is.
I guess. The president is a puppet anyway. The president don’t make no damn decisions.
The president…they don’t have that much authority basically?
Nah, never.
But Bush pretty much…
You think Bush is making fuckin’ decisions?
He did, yeah, he fucked up the country.
He act like he making decisions. He could barely speak! He could barely fuckin’ speak!
Can’t be serious. He ain’t making no damn decisions.
Well Barack has a good chance of winning so that might be something.
Good for him, good for him.
