Mixtape: Attack Of The Blogs - AC

For those that don't know, a couple of weeks ago AC spit an exclusive freestyle for 20 of the top blog sites on the internet and whoever had the patients to go to each, download and screen shot them for proof would win some sick orisue gear. Heres a link with all of them, plus some bonus joints. We weren't featured this time around, but maybe next time? HAHA

Theo

"With "the new generations of emerging artists looking uncertain, there are few blessed with substance and talent. Among those prominent in view is, Theo. The Providence, R.I. native is here to offer versatility & timelessness to the music industry. Recent artists mimic the previous successes of past music individuals, who offer no form of self identity to the music industry, "they seem to be afraid of themselves", says Theo. Coming from a musical background Theo is also a well known DJ. His passion as a DJ helped him grow a strong appreciation for music, "in the 80's & 90's you had people like RUN from Run DMC, Dr. Dre, Erick Sermon & Jermaine Dupri who all, besides being artists, DJ'd as well as produced, it wasn't an issue for them. We also have that now with artists like Hi-Tek, Kanye West & Lauryn Hill who all are multi-talented." Music that evokes emotion, passion & is embraced by the masses is what is called for. Theo combines diversity, swagger with rhymes & harmonies. With style, taste, incredible wordplay & vocal range, Theo is in a class all by himself."

By now you know that H²G supports the whole unsigned scene of hip hop, Theo is no acception to the dopeness that it keeps serving up. I've been sleeping a little on dude, but rest assured that it stops now. I'll be posting more Theo shit as it surfaces on the net. I've added 2 tracks that have leaked on to the net off of his upcoming album The Birth which drops 08-08-08 (August 8, 2008) The first one dropped yesterday (shout out to OKP) and is called Sweetest Language, produced by Profit. The other dropped back in May and is titled Say It Right. I've also added a past mixtape of Theo's that also dropped back in May.

Fahrenheit 1/15

I've been noticing that people have been up on all this unreleased Lupe Fiasco ish, so I thought I would bring it back for you, Here are the 5 mixtapes of 1st & 15th mixtape series Fahrenheit 1/15

"This group of mixtapes is a collection of freestyles and originals that comprise Fahrenheit 1/15, named for a corner in his neighborhood, and read like a trek through his life: Islam, geekdom, resistance to sinning, local turbulence, political unrest."

Fahrenheit 1/15 Part I: The Truth Is Among Us
Fahrenheit 1/15 Part II: Revenge Of The Nerds
Fahrenheit 1/15 Part III: A Rhyming Ape
Fahrenheit 1/15 Part V: Untamed Beast
Fahrenheit 1/15 Part VI: The Testimony Of Gemstones

I understand that part IV is not there and theres a reason. I only learned of this today actually, It turns out Fahrenheit 1/15 Part IV is the leaked version of Lupe Fiasco's album; Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor. When the album was first leaked, Lupe stated that fans could just "...go ahead and download it, think of it as Fanrenheit 1/15 Part IV" This version was un-mixed, and didn't have all of the tracks that are available on the Retail Version.

FSD (big shouts) has been dropping those Chi Town unreleased on the regular lately and of course us being their affiliate and big fans of anything out of Chicago, we post them up. Heres most (if not all) of the unreleased FNF songs/freestyles that have been posted up:

You, Me, Him & Her - Lupe Fiasco
Cold World - Lupe Fiasco
Gangstas Groove (Ft. Gemstones) - Lupe Fiasco
I Keep It Gutter Like (Ft. Stack Bundles) - Lupe Fiasco
