Theo just shot over episode 7 & 8 of his youtube series "All Things Theo" I'll let the e-mail explain:
"Been busy these last couple weeks wrapping up "The Birth" which is out 08-08-08 via Okayplayer (God is GREAT), but in between recording and some relaxation is some footage of R.I Sound Session 2008 where i performed alongside Kidz In The Hall as well as some footage of Connecticut's 'Sail Festival' with U-N-I."w/ U-N-I
Some more shit from Theo. He goes in over the Kanye-produced Grammy Family. Shout out to OKP & Mr. X
Grammy Family Freestyle - Theo
The Birth August 8th!
"With "the new generations of emerging artists looking uncertain, there are few blessed with substance and talent. Among those prominent in view is, Theo. The Providence, R.I. native is here to offer versatility & timelessness to the music industry. Recent artists mimic the previous successes of past music individuals, who offer no form of self identity to the music industry, "they seem to be afraid of themselves", says Theo. Coming from a musical background Theo is also a well known DJ. His passion as a DJ helped him grow a strong appreciation for music, "in the 80's & 90's you had people like RUN from Run DMC, Dr. Dre, Erick Sermon & Jermaine Dupri who all, besides being artists, DJ'd as well as produced, it wasn't an issue for them. We also have that now with artists like Hi-Tek, Kanye West & Lauryn Hill who all are multi-talented." Music that evokes emotion, passion & is embraced by the masses is what is called for. Theo combines diversity, swagger with rhymes & harmonies. With style, taste, incredible wordplay & vocal range, Theo is in a class all by himself."By now you know that H²G supports the whole unsigned scene of hip hop, Theo is no acception to the dopeness that it keeps serving up. I've been sleeping a little on dude, but rest assured that it stops now. I'll be posting more Theo shit as it surfaces on the net. I've added 2 tracks that have leaked on to the net off of his upcoming album The Birth which drops 08-08-08 (August 8, 2008) The first one dropped yesterday (shout out to OKP) and is called Sweetest Language, produced by Profit. The other dropped back in May and is titled Say It Right. I've also added a past mixtape of Theo's that also dropped back in May.
