Theo just shot over episode 7 & 8 of his youtube series "All Things Theo" I'll let the e-mail explain:
"Been busy these last couple weeks wrapping up "The Birth" which is out 08-08-08 via Okayplayer (God is GREAT), but in between recording and some relaxation is some footage of R.I Sound Session 2008 where i performed alongside Kidz In The Hall as well as some footage of Connecticut's 'Sail Festival' with U-N-I."
Naledge gets on the remix of their first single off The In Crowd with Pacific Division, Tyga, Glasses Malone & Mistah F.A.B. I'm guessing the beat is laced by Double O.
"STRAIGHT MINK SQUIRREL SEATS, YOU KNOW WHERE YOU FIND THESE?! YOU FIND 'EM IN CHINA, YOU FIND 'EM IN THE WOODS, DEEP IN THE MOUNTAINS IN CHINA. WE FOUND 'EM AND WE TRAPPED EM AND WE KILLED 'EM AND WE PUT 'EM ON THESE SEATS!" - Raphael (Double O)
HAHAHAHA.
The In Crowd in stores today! Go get it.. OR ELSE
The In Crowd drops today so head over to your local mom and pop shop and support good music.. Personally I think this is and will be one the hottest albums this year.
Man, this has seriously made my day. Now I'm convinced that The In Crowd is gonna be a classic of our time and that Double O is one of the dopest producers out. The cut with Estelle on the hook sounds like it has commercial appeal and the track featuring Travis McCoy (of the Gym Class Heroes) is straight dope. KITH are the future, If you've been sleeping.. What the fuck? LOL
Alright so right before I step out of the house I get hit with this gem so play it enjoy it. Vote for Drivin Down the Block on TRL and pull a Skillzand pick up The In Crowd in stores May 13.

"Method Man and Redman are back in the studio together after nearly 10 years, recording a new collabo project Blackout 2, which will be the follow-up to the duo's platinum selling disc Blackout!"
The article goes on to say some of the producers that'll contribute to this sure-to-be masterpiece, they include Gilla House, Eric Sermon and Rocwilder theres talk about maybe having a Premo track or two.

How do you feel about the term hipster rap? Do you feel it applies to you? Double-O: No. Because the definition of a hipster is a, well, I don't know what the original Wikipedia definition was when they used it back in the '50s, but now it's become a very pretentious title. It defines somebody who may or may not really be attached to the art form, but they just like it because it's kind of ahead of the curve or it's cool. So, I think that all it is is another definition, trying to define a sub-genre of music that they just haven't figured out how to define yet. That, really, to me, that's the buzz on music going around right now. I don't call it hipster rap, there's a lot of different types of stuff going on, it'd not just hipsters that like it. It just so happens that the bloggers and some of the more forward-thinking people are up on it.
Hipster or not, at the end of the day its all hip hop. 'nough said.
